Meet The Doctor

 Lynn A. Fasnacht, D.D.S.

Dr. Fasnacht was born and raised in Long Beach, CA. and graduated from Wilson High School in 1970.  He received a bachelors degree in Biological Science from the University of Southern California and then a doctorate in dentistry from the University of Southern California School of Dentistry.  Upon graduating from dental school in 1979, he was an associate of Dr. Jack Tylicki in Long Beach and then established a solo dental practice in Long Beach at 319 Redondo Ave. in 1980. He was the first Delegate to represent California on the council for young dentists for California Dental Association and American Dental Association Council.

  • Assisted in the development and administration of a dental program associated with the Emergency Room of St. Mary's Hospital in Long Beach, 1980-1983
  • In-Service training of Long Beach school nurses for the SB111 program, 1980
  • Developed the dental school screening program for Long Beach Unified School District in conjunction with the Children's Dental Clinic and the Harbor Dental Society, 1985
  • Past President of the Harbor Dental Society, 1987
  • Developed the USC Pediatric Dental Residency Program at Miller Children's Hospital/Long Beach Memorial Medical Center, 1989
  • Past President of the Children's Dental Foundation, 1990-1992 and again in 2004-2006
  • Started the mobile clinic for the children of Santa Catalina Island in 1991
  • Professional Chairman of the Children's Dental Health Clinic (CDHC) at Long Beach Memorial Hospital from 1996 to 2002
  • Appointed as a Commissioner for the Board of Health and Human Services for the City of Long Beach, 1998 - 2007
  • Dental Director of the CDHC 2002 – 2003
  • Professional Committee Chairman of CDHC 1994-98
  • Participated in University of Pacific Hospital Dentistry Program for Special Needs Patients
  • Helped develop a dental sealant program through the Department of Health and Human Services in Long Beach
  • Currently developing a hospital-based program for Special Needs adult patients
  • Received a commendation from the State of Louisiana for help during hurricanes Katrina and Rita in 2005
